You play an important role in the education of your children. Your involvement and encouragement can help your child excel in life. Besides achieving success at school, parent’s involvement also helps the child to flourish in other areas of life.

One of the most valuable things you can do to help your ward with career planning is listen, be open to ideas, try to help your ward find information and be non-judgmental. Encourage your ward to take decisions first. Subsequently discuss & debate critically on his / her decisions and help her realize the soundness of the decision taken.

When it comes to making successful academic and career decision your support and understanding is all the more important for your ward. We suggest you to listen to your ward’s ideas, hopes and fears and remain open minded .. wait before you react to them.

Support their exploration of interest and majors and career path even if it isn’t what you imagined. You may have wanted your ward to be a doctor, though to your surprise your ward may want to get into Fashion designing. We advise you to help him understand his interest scientifically.

Encourage your ward to begin career planning early. Promote him to cling on to right career resources – the news papers, magazines & the right websites.
